Portrait photography from Magdeburg – this has been my speciality since summer 2024.
My approach
Three values guide my work: authenticity, mindfulness, and respect. My aim is to capture the human essence – not perfection, but genuine moments.
For me, a sensual portrait is not created through nudity, but through atmosphere: through a glance, through body language, through the play of light and shadow. Sensuality can therefore emerge in any genre of photography. And when I photograph a nude, I am not concerned with sensuality as an end in itself, but with the vulnerability of that moment: to show it in all its humanity.
My areas of photography
I photograph everything from portraits to semi-nudes and full nudes. The type of shoot depends on the visual concept and on what the model feels comfortable with. For me, the nude is not a goal, but a possible means. The decision is always made by the person in front of the camera.
My visual language
I photograph in both black and white and colour – the message of the image determines which form is the right one. My focus is on available light, because less lighting equipment means more room for the authenticity of the moment. For me, successful photography means bringing the subject, the location, the light and the underlying concept into harmony. When these elements harmonise, images emerge that have a story to tell.
Important
Photography is not a side project for me, even though I don’t do it full-time. I am self-taught – I owe my development to an intensive exploration of light, image composition and working with the people in front of my camera. My portfolio is the best way to see whether my approach suits you.
